We free up your valuable time by dealing with all administrative, repair and maintenance work on your properties in a timely fashion. As we uphold a community-centred ethos and take a personal approach to our work, you can trust us to look after your properties. Here is what we can offer as part of our letting maintenance service.
- Before letting your property MACKLINS HOME AND GARDENS letting maintenance service will arrange for all safety checks to be carried out and necessary certificates issued.
- Professional cleaners and gardeners can be instructed as required.
- We will visit the property once a week to ensure that the heating is on during the winter, the property is aired and any potential problems reported to you.
- We will look after the day to day running of the property and ensure that all queries and minor problems are dealt with, bearing in mind your interests at all times.
- Any emergencies will be dealt with as necessary and we offer an out of hour’s emergency service to the Tenants, at an agreed call out fee.
- Items of repair and maintenance will be referred back to you for approval, or an arrangement can be agreed for us to carry out works to the value of £250.00, if preferred.
- We are always happy to use contractors previously associated with you and your property as long as they have the necessary insurance, otherwise, we will use our team of approved and insured contractors.
At MACKLINS HOME AND GARDENS we have our own Public Liability Insurance this is available for viewing on request.
Void management service
While the property is vacant we can visit weekly to ensure that heating is on in the winter, the property is aired, forward any mail on to you and check for any problems.
We will advise on garden maintenance and gutter clearing if necessary. Extra works can be carried out by agreement, we will take on all your internal Maintenance and Painting and Decorating needs from hanging that picture you’ve never got around to do or that small box room that just needs freshened up to a full house Interior Decorating contract. We find most people prefer this work after summer has ended, as winter and Christmas is soon upon us at this stage, to avoid disappointment WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PRE BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Our letting clients also prefer to have their properties freshened up before new tenants arrive from the single room to full interior and exterior overhaul.
